Originally from the state of Jalisco, from a very young age he discovered his talent for the plastic arts and took workshops in drawing, painting and sculpture. He went on to major in Visual Arts with orientation to Sculpture at the University of Guadalajara.

He participated as assistant to several international sculptors in symposia, but it was during his second semester of the career when he had the opportunity to work with Celestino Cuzaley, a prestigious sculptor, with whom he performed various works that were later cast in silver, gold and bronze.

After a year of working in goldsmithing, he felt the need to work independently, and to establish his own study, and he has currently carried out important works of sculpture for various institutions.

Among his most important monuments are: the statue of Pope John Paul II in Guadalajara, Jalisco; The statue of Juan José Arreola in Ciudad Guzmán and in the Rotunda of the famous Jalisco people; and the statue of Goddess Themis at the Supreme Court of Justice of Jalisco, among many others.

Over the years he has made numerous international exhibitions and has been awarded several prizes, which have recognized his great talent in the plastic arts.

However, it is his hyperrealist sculptures that have made him appear within the social networks, because through various videos published by the artist we can observe the incredible details of each of his creations.

The Pope Francis and Frida Kahlo are some of the characters that this sculptor has replicated, and their resemblance with the real people is striking, since details of skin, eyes and even hair can be appreciated…by the way, the artist claims he uses real hair.

To create these hyperrealistic sculptures, Orozco Loza also uses materials such as silicone, wood and resin, and it can take up to 45 days of 12 hours work to make just one, due to the large amount of detail that they require.

Each of his creations manages to perfectly represent the human fragility, every pore of the skin, each hair, and even the glitter of the gaze radiating in the tiny eyes that the artist inserts into the small faces that represent his art.

Although Orozco performs sculptures of all sizes, it is the small ones that have become an attraction on the Internet, demonstrating this way the great talent that exists in Mexico.
