Nike will raffle 89 pairs of futuristic Nike Mag tennis, which are based on the iconic shoes that Marty McFly used in Back to the Future II in 1989.
Proceeds will go directly to Michael J. Fox’s foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease, which the actor, who played the role of Marty in the Hollywood franchise suffers for 25 years.
These shoes have a system called “Adaptive Fit”, which reacts in a personalized way to the movement they perceive from the person using them and they adjust or loose depending on what is done. They also have a futuristic look that certainly lovers of Back To The Future will love.
Nike auctioned in 2011 a version of the Nike Mag for approximately $ 10 million dollars, an amount that was donated to the foundation, however on this occasion anyone will be able to obtain them.
Each ticket to participate in the raffle will cost $ 10, and anyone can buy them. There is no limit of tickets, and the more you buy, the better is the chances of getting one of the 89 pairs of tennis.
