This time the aim is to bring virtual reality one step further, and make it a useful tool for keeping people connected regardless of the distance, allowing them to interact with each other.

Facebook is working on 360-based images in which people can interact with each other, play games, express emotions and even answer video calls or messages in virtual environments.

During the presentation, which took place in the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Zuckerberg held a meeting with two of his colleagues, with whom he visited various scenarios, he interacted and even played cards.

Avatars, Rooms and Parties are the three apps that will allow Oculus Rift users to create their own personalities and interact with friends within these virtually created worlds.

One of the disadvantages of virtual reality is that it requires powerful computers to create simulations, but Facebook hopes to change that, and lowering the minimum requirements that a computer needs to use the case of Oculus.

Similarly Mark Zuckerberg announced they expect to get a helmet less powerful, fully wireless, you will not need to be connected to a computer, it will be cheaper than those that currently exist, and it will be available next year.
